- Purpose of the Programme
The cleaning programme was conducted as part of community participation under the Tshwane Community Problem Property and Problem Building Programme. The initiative focused on restoring cleanliness, safety, and dignity at the property located at 6654 Hluvuka Street, Soshanguve BB.
This activity aligns directly with Objective (1) of the RISE ON A MOVE NPO Constitution:
OBJECTIVE (1): Information Desk
To stand as a central pillar to the community and serve as an information desk to the public, including influencing engagement in governmental annual running department programmes, and to hand over an annual report to the Public Protector’s Office for review.

The cleaning programme was successfully conducted through collaboration between:

- RISE ON A MOVE NPO Staff Members
- Community Members from Soshanguve BB
- Volunteers and Youth Representatives
The participation demonstrated unity, civic responsibility, and shared commitment to community development.

The following activities were undertaken:
4.1 Site Inspection
- Identification of problem areas (illegal dumping, overgrown vegetation, hazardous materials).
- Assessment of safety risks and environmental concerns.
4.2 Cleaning and Waste Removal
- Collection and disposal of solid waste.
- Removal of illegal dumping materials.
- Clearing of overgrown grass and bushes.
- Sweeping and sanitizing of affected areas.
4.3 Community Engagement
- Engagement with residents regarding proper waste disposal.
- Information sharing about municipal services.
- Encouragement of community members to report problem properties.
- Promotion of active participation in government annual departmental programmes.
